Pavers and Stepping Stones
Casa Depot, S.A. manufactures pavers and stepping stones at our Punta Robalo facility. Our pavers and
stepping stones are a concrete based product. We use construction grade aggregate from the Chiriqui
Grande and Punta Robalo rivers. We use concrete additives and pigments to produce a product so
durable that we offer a lifetime guarantee from cracking or breaking.
History: While traveling in Europe, Tom Scherping was intrigued by the wide-spread use of pavers in
streets, sidewalks, and patios. Upon his return to the U.S. Tom began designing paver shapes.
Traditional pavers were made of clay or concrete. But they broke easily and needed to be replaced too
often.
Tom commissioned some concrete engineers to develop a paver formulation that would be much
stronger than existing pavers and impervious to weather and temperature. The engineers were
successful on all accounts and developed a formula that resisted water and passed a compression test
of 5500 pounds per square inch.
Neil Sander purchased the rights to EuroBrick©. Neil then moved to Panama and started CasaDepot,S.A.
The Panama Caribbean rain forests and tropical islands seemed a natural market for good pavers. Neil
then set up a production line at the Punta Robalo warehouse.
EuroBrick© pavers are suitable for patios, sidewalks, driveways, and streets. They are very strong (5000
pounds per square inch, minimum) and do not absorb water like competing products. Fired bricks and
the common cement based products absorb water and are susceptible to weather and temperature
damage. EuroBrick© has a definite competitive advantage for quality and durability.
No broken or cracked pavers.
Have you ever purchased traditional pavers? Have you watched people sorting through pallets of
pavers to find product that was not cracked nor broken?
Our pavers are guaranteed for life - FREE REPLACEMENT!
Yes, that's right! We will actually give you free replacement should any paver or stepping stone break.
(Note: warrantee does not cover chipping.) You do not have to purchase extra pavers to allow for
breakage
